Bay recently presented her ‘Four Laws for Metaverse Creators‘ at NFT Show Europe 2022. Lessons from Metaverse Art Week 2022

Metaverse Art Week 2022 was Decentraland’s third edition of the annual arts festival. The five day event was live in Decentraland’s art districts from August 24-28 2022, but most exhibitions remain open for the rest of this year. Inspired by the Venice Biennale Arte, the theme for Metaverse Art Week 2022 was: The World is Made of Code.

Bay’s presentation the ‘Four Laws for Metaverse Creators’ is based on Vueltta’s learnings from their installations for Metaverse Art Week 2022, and also from their participation in the Decentraland DAO community. This is the ‘Decentralized Autonomous Organization‘ behind the Decentraland metaverse, an open decision-making body for the virtual world. Through votes in the DAO, Decentraland’s community can issue grants and make changes.

Vueltta was awarded grant funding by the DAO to develop ‘The Labyrinth Effect‘, their series of immersive installations and events. To fully experience The Labyrinth Effect, you can still visit the installations in two Decentraland locations:
