Curation of Masks on Miércoles, covid-responsible art events in Valencia

Bay curated a series of weekly covid-responsible art events throughout October 2020. In collaboration with art collective Colonia Roma, the events included artist talks, art workshops and discussions. Highlights were artist Emma Shapiro’s discussion on social media censorship and Tina McCallan’s workshop on shamanistic journeys into the subconscious.

Curator of Group Show: The Everyday Masks Project with Colonia Roma, Valencia

Curation of show ‘The Everyday Masks Project’ with photographer Alex Baker and arts collective Colonia Roma. Bay designed the exhibition to work safely within Valencia’s covid restrictions. In lieu of a traditional inauguration, ten artists opened the show with a photoshoot of the original masked artworks.
